Brett Favre 1991 Draft Time Pick

Favre played his senior school ball at Hancock North Central. Even though he played...

Brett Favre came to be on October 10, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Standing at 6-foot 2 inches and weighing in at 220 pounds, it is easy to see why Favre is called one of the greatest quarterbacks of most time. In addition to his ideal build, Favre also has among the greatest minds that the game has ever seen. His smarts are what've allowed him to get at every amount of football imaginable.

Favre played his high-school ball at Hancock North Central. His first love was the game of soccer, although h-e played a few sports. His father was his coach in senior high school, and ironically enough Favre rarely put the ball a lot more than five times in any given game. This was because of the fact that his dad loved to run the ball out of a wishbone creation.

After high-school Favre chose to just take his game to Southern Mississippi because they were the sole college to provide a scholarship to him. Even though training staff wanted him to play on-the defensive part of the ball, Favre convinced them to give a try to him at quarterback. Despite beginning the season as the seventh string quarterback, he took over whilst the beginning in the second half of the 3rd game of his freshman season. The rest is history as Favre dazzled the college basketball world for the rest of his time at the school.

In the 1991 NFL Draft the Atlanta Falcons picked Favre early in-the second round. Brett Buchanan Online includes new info about why to do it. Favre just performed one season with the Falcons, and was then traded to the Green Bay Packers during the off season.

Favre has had an excellent career with the Packers, and continues to be at it even today. In 16 conditions in the NFL he's passed for 57,500 yards and 414 touchdowns. These figures are among the best that the category has ever seen, and must be for quite some time..
